Winter Skincare Routine for Sugared Skin
Because your glow deserves to hibernate in style.
Hey, sweet friends! As the weather cools down and we all start living in soft sweaters and fuzzy socks, your skin deserves a little extra love — especially if you’re keeping up with your regular sugaring appointments (which we love you for).
Here’s how to keep your smooth, sugared skin happy all winter long:
1. Moisturize Like It’s a Ritual
Cold air = dry skin. Keep your post-sugar glow going by applying a rich, fragrance-free moisturizer daily. Look for ingredients like shea butter, aloe, or jojoba — they lock in hydration without clogging pores. Bonus points for warming it in your hands before applying — it feels like a mini spa moment.
2. Skip the Scalding Showers
We know — nothing feels better than a hot shower when it’s chilly out. But hot water can strip your skin of its natural oils. Try warm water instead, and finish with a few seconds of cool water to seal in moisture. Your skin will thank you later.
3. Exfoliate Gently (But Consistently)
Even in winter, regular exfoliation keeps your skin soft and prevents ingrowns. Use a gentle mitt or sugar scrub 2–3 times a week. we have a lovely Calendula Pumice Scrub — it helps your sugaring results last longer and keeps things smooth between visits.
4. Dress for Cozy, Not Chafing
After your appointment, opt for loose, breathable fabrics. Think soft cotton or cozy bamboo — not tight leggings or wool right away. Let your skin breathe while you enjoy that freshly-sugared feeling.
5. Hydrate From the Inside
It’s easy to forget water when it’s not blazing hot outside, but hydration is key to keeping your skin glowing. Herbal tea counts, too — so sip that chamomile with pride.
6. Book Your “Me Time” Ahead
Winter can get busy fast — treat your next sugaring appointment like a self-care date with yourself. Your skin (and your future spring self) will be so glad you did.
Stay cozy, stay smooth, and keep glowing — even under all those layers.
